The 84th Annual Academy Awards nominees – plus our picks for Oscar gold!

.

.

The Oscars are coming up fast, and today we get the full list of nominees for all the Academy Award categories. While I’m happy to see THE ARTIST getting so much deserved love, I noticed a few other things immediately, such as J. EDGAR getting completely snubbed (no nomination for Leonardo Di Caprio or director Clint Eastwood), and only two songs nominated for Best Original Song – you’re telling me there weren’t more songs than that?! Also not Disney/Pixar’s disappointing CARS 2 did not get nominated for Best Animated Film, giving me hope for the voters this year. Check out the list and share your thoughts in the comments below. Remember, our “picks” below are what we think will win, not necessarily what we want to win.
