CHRONICLE is directed by Joshua Trank and stars Dane DeHaan, Michael B. Jordan, Alex Russell and Michael Kelly.

SYNOPSIS: Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to them developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities, and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over.

CHRONICLE is set to hit theaters on February 3, 2012.

UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING is directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein from a script by Len Wiseman, John Hlavin, Allison Burnett and J. Michael Straczynski.  It stars Kate Beckinsale, Stephen Rea, Michael Ealy, Theo James, India Eisley and Charles Dance.

SYNOPSIS: “Underworld Awakening” brings a stunning new dimension to the epic battle between Vampires and Lycans, as the first film in the franchise to shoot in 3D.

Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.

UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING is set to hit 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D theaters on January 20, 2012.

JOHN CARTER is directed by Andrew Stanton from a script that he wrote with Mark Andrews and Michael Chabon.  The film stars  Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Daryl Sabara, Polly Walker, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Hayden Church and Willem Dafoe.

SYNOPSIS: From Academy Award winning filmmaker Andrew Stanton comes “John Carter” a sweeping action-adventure set on the mysterious and exotic planet of Barsoom (Mars). “John Carter” is based on a classic novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, whose highly imaginative adventures served as inspiration for many filmmakers, both past and present. The film tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.

THE WOMAN IN BLACK is directed by James Watkins from a script by Jane Goldman.  The film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Ciaran Hinds, Liz White, Janet McTeer, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire and Lucy May Barker.

SYNOPSIS: The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.

THE WOMAN IN BLACK is set to hit theaters on February 3, 2012.

 

 

THE GREY is directed by Joe Carnahan from a script by Ian Mackenzie Jeffers and Joe Carnahan.  The film stars Liam Neeson, Frank Grillo, Dermot Mulroney, Dallas Roberts, Joe Anderson, James Badge Dale and Nonso Anozie.

SYNOPSIS: In “The Grey,” Liam Neeson leads an unruly group of oil-rig roughnecks when their plane crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. Battling mortal injuries and merciless weather, the survivors have only a few days to escape the icy elements, and a vicious pack of rogue wolves on the hunt, before their time runs out.

THE GREY is set to hit theaters on January 27, 2012.
