GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE roars in with a new trailer and poster!

The brand new trailer and poster for the semi-reboot, semi-sequel GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE is here and we have it for you.  The trailer takes on a more serious tone than the first one, showing some wicked action and cool, fiery deaths at the hands (and chains, and bullet spitting mouth) of the Rider.  After the first trailer came out, one thing that everyone couldn’t stop talking about, whether it was good or bad, was the final scene of the trailer in which, after answer the little boy’s question about what Johnny Blaze (Nicholas Cage) does if he has to go to the bathroom while he’s transformed, we see Ghost Rider himself peeing fire back and forth all over the place.  Well love it or hate it, but there is no shot of that particular scene in this trailer.

Directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor are known for their crazy, extreme stunts, especially from their movies CRANK and CRANK 2, and it looks like there will be no difference in their style in this movie, which is not to say that is a bad thing.  One unique take they directors are bringing to the movie is that any vehicle that the Ghost Rider rides becomes HELL-ified so there are some cool scenes in the trailer of different vehicles he drives, including a huge strip-miner.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments below.

SYNOPSIS: Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in Columbia Pictures’ and Hyde Park Entertainment’s “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.” In the successor to the worldwide hit “Ghost Rider,” Johnny – still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter – is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy – and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.
