Wise-guy, eh? THE THREE STOOGES Teaser Trailer hits!

The first teaser trailer for The Farrelly Brothers (DUMB AND DUMBER, THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY) next comedy, THE THREE STOOGES, has finally hit the web.  The trailer, in my opinion, does a good job of showing that The Farrelly’s are trying to be very faithful to the classic comedy trio with their slap-stick brand of comedy.

It’s wild to watch as Will Sasso (Curly) and Sean Hayes (Larry) seem to have nailed their parts in an incredibly eerie sort of way.  I am still not sold on Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe, but he still gives off the same hard-nosed vibe that the original did, so maybe he will grow on me as we see more.  I personally could have done with out the inclusion of certain members (read: any) of Jersey Shore, but then again, they do have a following out there… somewhere.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments.

THE THREE STOOGES is directed by Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly and stars Chris Diamantopoulos, Will Sasso, Sean Hayes, Jane Lynch, Larry David, Stephen Collins, Sofia Vergara and Jennifer Hudson.

SYNOPSIS: The movie takes place when the trio are dumped out as newborns at the door of an orphanage. The comedy follows them to adulthood and is very much in the spirit of the original shorts, in which the blue collar bumblers got the best of the wealthy society matrons that tried to exploit them.

THE THREE STOOGES is set to hit theaters on April 13, 2012.
