Check out the first trailer and four posters for SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN

In case you haven’t heard by now, Snow White is hot.  And by hot, I mean a hot property in Hollywood.  There are two different Snow White films set to grace the silver screens next year.  The first one, MIRROR, MIRROR, is from IMMORTALS director Tarsem Singh and the second one, SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, is from relative newcomer Rupert Sanders.  WhileTarsem’s is said to be sugary sweet in its imagery and storytelling, this one appears to be aimed at a more mature audience.  I have to say that I am quite surprised by the trailer.  It looks quite interesting, if I must say so myself.

Currently the trailer is being taken down left and right over at YouTube and Apple is currently not allowing for embedding so for now, click on over to Apple to check out the trailer and have a glance below for four brand spankin’ new posters for next summer’s movie.  Once we can embed a copy of the trailer that won’t be taken down, we will update and post it right here.

SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN is directed by Rupert Sanders and stars Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin.

SYNOPSIS: In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) out to destroy her.  But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) dispatched to kill her.  Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power.

The breathtaking new vision of the legendary tale is from Joe Roth, the producer of Alice in Wonderland, producer Sam Mercer (The Sixth Sense) and acclaimed commercial director and state-of-the-art visualist Rupert Sanders.

SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN is set to hit theaters on June 1, 2012.
