New International trailer for Steven Spielberg’s THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN

A new international trailer for the Steven Spielberg directed and Peter Jackson produced THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN has hit. While the first two teaser trailers showed off some impressive motion capture, animation and lighting, they did very little to spark my interest in this movie. Still, with the combination of Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, my interest was and still is peaked very high. This new trailer does a much better job of showcasing the immense scale that the movie is going for and in my opinion, does a much better job of showing what these two giants in the movie industry have in store for us this December. The effects, provided by Jackson’s Weta Digital are just breathtaking.

Take a look at the new international trailer below:

In case you missed the first 2 teaser trailers or posters, you can view them here.

The film, designed to be the first in a trilogy and based on the series of books THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN by Hergé, is a 3D Motion Capture Film directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by Steven Moffat and Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish. The film stars Jamie Bell (“Billy Elliot,” “Defiance”) as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, and Daniel Craig (“Quantum of Solace,” “Defiance”) as the nefarious Red Rackham. The film also stars Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Tony Curran, Toby Jones, Gad Elmaleh, Mackenzie Crook, Cary Elwes, Phillip Rhys and Ron Bottitta. It is produced by Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson and Kathleen Kennedy and opens here in the U.S. in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D on December 23, 2011.
