Move over DESPERADO.  Pack your bags KILL BILL.

Are you a fan of new BATTLESTAR GALACTICA?  What about THE BOONDOCK SAINTS movies?  What about DIFFERENT STROKES?  Well have we got a movie for you.  The trailer for HOWLIN’ FOR YOU stars Helfer as a Grindhouse-style killer babe that takes crap from no one.  She falls for Sean Patrick Flanery… which turns out to be a mistake, and winds up fighting all sorts of eccentric baddies.  This looks like Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s wet dream… or maybe just mine.  Either way, you simply must watch this trailer.  The Black Keys song never sounded better! Here’s the synopsis we’ve found:

Alexa Wolff, a sexy assassin with a troubled past, unknowingly falls in love with the man who killed her father. He is not her first love, though. Two other men came before. But they would not have her. Now, all grown up with an appetite for revenge, Alexa’s leaving a trail of bloody corpses and broken hearts in her wake.

The film stars Tricia Helfer, Diora Baird, Christian Serratos, Sean Patrick Flanery, Corbin Bernsen, Todd Bridges, Don Piliero, Chris Delfosse, Patrick J. Carney, David Kallaway, Antoine Williams, Shaun White, Jon Bailey, Desiree Cooper, Chris Marrs Piliero, Daniel Q. Auerbach, and Jason Nguyen.

It’s directed by Chris Marrs Piliero… but the big mystery right now is what exactly is this, a movie or just a trailer?  IMDB lists the running time at 3 minutes, which is the trailer’s length.  I wonder if this is perhaps a pitch for a potential film.  Then again there’s the most-likely answer, that this is just a highly creative music video for The Black Keys. Either way, it’s fun as hell to watch.

If that YouTube link goes down for any reason, click the graphic below which will open a new page (the original video as of this writing is not embeddable) and watch the trailer on IMDB.
