She-Hulk has always been my favorite Marvel female superhero, and not just because her last name is Walters. She’s super strong, but also a bit wacky and at times very funny. The characters has gone through some changes through the years, and even started out as a more serious take. But when John Byrne reinvented her in the 1980s, She-Hulk became much more humorous, even breaking the fourth wall to talk to the reader on many occasions… yes, that’s right, long before Deadpool ever did. The new Disney+ series SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW casts Tatiana Maslany (ORPHAN BLACK) as the lead Jennifer Walters, and brings back Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / The Hulk to help train her. There are also rumors that Charlie Cox could return as Matt Murdock / Daredevil since he was reintroduced in SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME, and Jennifer Walters in the show is a practicing attorney dealing with superhero-related court cases… I think this new San Diego Comic-Con sneak peek pretty much confirms that, and shows us a LOT of other things we can expect Tim Roth is back as The Abomination, Benedict Wong cameos as Wong, and more. The cast also includes THE GOOD PLACE’s Jameela Jamil, and RICK AND MORTY’s Jessica Gao is the head writer, with episodes directed by Kat Coiro (MARRY ME) and Anu Valia (AND JUST LIKE THAT…). Check out this new special trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
