More DR. HORRIBLE’S SING-ALONG BLOG on the way – so says Nathan Fillion!

My buddy Rick Marshall over at MTV has really been on top of it lately, posting all sorts of cool news bytes.  Today, for all of you Joss Whedon fans, some rather cool info direct from the mouth of Whedon ambassador Nathan Fillion.  It appears after much curiosity from the fans, there will in fact be more DR. HORRIBLE’S SING-ALONG BLOG on the way… and perhaps more than anyone expected.  MTV caught up with Fillion at last night’s Cosmopolitan Magazine “2010 Fun Fearless Males” red carpet interviews.  Nathan responded to the DR. HORRIBLE inquiries with more news than expected.

“I’ve heard some of the lyrics for one of the new songs, I’ve heard a title for the sequel, and I’ve heard some great ideas. I’ve also heard of some kind of other accoutrements that are coming out aside from a sequel that we’re planning on.”

“So… exciting things. ‘Dr. Horrible’ [is] far from dead,” he added.

Though they tried to get him to explain a bit about those “accouterments” could be, Fillion seemed a little more tight-lipped, saying, “I can’t. No,” stating any more info dropping could result in “a lightning bolt from god.”

Check out the MTV interview below.  And of course, visit MTV for more awesome news.
