Watch the first six bloody minutes of THE COLLECTION now… and we do mean BLOODY

THE COLLECTION opens this Friday, and although it’s very much a sequel, the filmmakers did a pretty goodf job crafting it as a stand alone horror film. The story revolves around a masked killer, his last victim who has been trapped in a box (played by Josh Stewart), and his latest target (played by Emma Fitzpatrick). The opening of the film definitely lets the audience know what they’re in for, and doesn’t pull any punches. I got to see the opening six minutes at Long Beach Comic-Con, and now you can too, thanks to IGN. Please note, this is a rather bloody segment of the film, and not for the squeamish. If you’re a horror fan and you’ve never seem this film’s predecessor, THE COLLECTOR (2009), I’d definitely recommend checking that film out first, but you can still enjoy THE COLLECTION on its own regardless. It should also be noted that both movies come the creative team of Marcus Dunstan (director, co-writer) and Patrick Melton (co-writer), who brought us the scripts for SAW IV, V, VI, and VII.

THE COLLECTION opens November 30, 2012
