Video interview: writer/director Stephen Chbosky talks about THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER

The new movie THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER tells the story of an introverted freshman that is taken under the wings of two seniors who welcome him to the real world. Sounds simple enough, right? It may also be one of the year’s best films. Our very own Marc Ciafardini got a chance to sit down with writer/director Stephen Chbosky and talk a bit about putting the project together. The movie stars Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller as the main leads, but also features an impressive supporting cast that includes Dylan McDermott, Kate Walsh, Paul Rudd, and even make-up master Tom Savini. It opens this weekend, so check it out and tell us your thoughts in the comment. In the meantime watch Marc’s informative video with the talented Mr. Chbosky below.
