Last November we posted our first solid look at the epic vision for Darren Aronofsky’s NOAH starring Russell Crowe as the Biblical hero. Today we get a new theatrical poster, which you can see above. This is supposed to be a mammoth production, easily the biggest film Aronofsky has ever tackled, and filled with painstakingly rendered CGI animals (about the only way you could do it). A lot of what we’re seeing in the trailer is quick cuts, but it definitely looks rather incredible. Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Anthony Hopkins, Dakota Goyo, Douglas Booth, Barry Sloane, Kevin Durand, Marton Csokas and Logan Lerman also star. Check out the second poster and the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments. Is this one of your most anticipated movies of next year?

The Biblical Noah suffers visions of an apocalyptic deluge and takes measures to protect his family from the coming flood.
