If you’re a hardcore BREAKING BAD fan and just can’t get enough of the wonderful AMC series… we sympathize. I know a lot of people feel like Walter White left our airwaves too soon, but not to worry, the complete series set will be available on November 26 in Blu-ray and/or DVD format so you can relive all the best moments over and over again. Those who read up on everything surrounding the show may have heard of an interesting visitor on the set just before they wrapped things up, and it wouldn’t take a rocket scientist (or Walter White even) to figure out what they were planning. It’s also been revealed that a special alternate ending would be shown on the Complete Series set. Now if you’d rather wait and see it with the rest of the series, we don’t blame you one bit. But if you’d like to get your fix right now, then read on…

…last chance to turn back…

Okay, let’s start with the obvious info. Many may remember Bryan Cranston’s biggest claim to fame before BREAKING BAD was starring as “Hal” the hapless father to Malcolm (played by Frankie Muniz) and husband to Lois (played by Jane Kaczmarek) on MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE on Fox. Now if you know classic TV endings well, you may also be familiar with one of the most famous last scenes of all time on the Bob Newhart sitcom NEWHART, in which Bob woke up with Suzanne Pleshette at the end to discover the entire NEWHART story was a dream and he was still on THE BOB NEWHART SHOW. So with a less than subtle nod to that wonderful ending, BREAKING BAD decided to give Cranston a similar (albeit not official) send off. There’s even a joke about Hal eating fried Twinkies, as on NEWHART Bob complained about Japanese food being the source of his nightmare. It’s silly, but still fun, and those who know the references should definitely appreciate it. Check it out below and tell us your thoughts in the comments. We’ll try to keep the video up, which Sony has been rather aggressively taking down from YouTube.

And here’s a backup just in case the one above is taken down:
