When CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER hit theaters, one of the biggest exciting elements was the post-credits tag teasing THE AVENGERS next summer.  It was such a big deal, several bootleg camcorder versions popped up online around the release, many of which were taken down by the studio as quickly as possible.  Today, courtesy of Yahoo, you can see part of what everyone was so giddy about, but only following part of the last scene in CAPTAIN AMERICA… I’m guessing this is a way to entice moviegoers to check out CAP in its first few weeks of release.  Please note, this clip is pretty spoiler-ish, as it shows the final moments of the film (though not in their entirety), and also note the full tag for THE AVENGERS is a little longer with more scenes.  But you’ll get the idea, and it’s cool to see this stuff still being a year out from the superhero team film.  Check it out below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

And here’s some hi-res frame grabs from the teaser, giving us a much more clear look at THE AVENGERS cast, and in particular Thor and Cap in their new costumes.
