We’ve been keeping you pretty up to date on the BAD KIDS GO TO HELL movie adaptation – including casting announcements and photos from the set. Based on the hot comic book series from 2009, the film is directed by co-creator Matthew Spradlin and produced by co-creator Barry Wernick. It stars Judd Nelson, Ben Browder, Cameron Deane Stewart, Augie Duke, Ali Faulkner, Marc Donato, Roger Edwards, Amanda Alch, Jeffrey Schmidt, and Chanel Ryan. I’m putting together a set report from various days of visiting the production, and yes, the rumors are true… I’m in the movie. More on that soon. But at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, the boys of BKGTH debuted a special trailer of sorts, giving fans an idea of what to expect. I gotta say, I was blown away at how good this looks. Keep in mind that production literally wrapped a week before the convention, and none of the special effects shots have been finished yet, but all things considered this looks incredibly polished and high quality. If you’ve never read the comics, you may not fully appreciate just how spot on some of these scenes look, but trust me when I say it’s impressive how perfect it looks in comparison to the source material. Look for the set report soon, and we’ll keep you posted on the progress with the post-production… but in the meantime, Bigfanboy.com is proud to present the online premiere of the San Diego Comic-Con teaser trailer for BAD KIDS GO TO HELL.
