Trailer and poster for BUCKY LARSON: BORN TO BE A STAR – Nick Swardson follows in his parents’ porn star footsteps

Seems like it’s been a while since we’ve had one of those off-the-wall wacky comedies from the Happy Madison stable. The new film BUCKY LARSON: BORN TO BE A STAR looks to fill that void, putting Nick Swardson in the spotlight as a buck-toothed clueless young man with unrealistic aspirations to become a movie star like his parents… except the movies his parents starred in were vintage porn, and Bucky isn’t exactly packing the same punch his father did. Despite that obvious setback, Bucky goes for celebrity gold, and in the process may find what you have isn’t as important as who you are, or something like that. Christina Ricci, Don Johnson, Stephen Dorff, Kevin Nealon, Nicholas Turturro, Curtis Armstrong, Pauly Shore, Allen Covert, and plenty of real life porn stars make up the rest of the cast. The film was written by Swardson, Covert and Adam Sandler, who are also three of the seven producers behind it. It’s directed by Tom Brady… no, not the New England Patriots’ Tom Brady. This Tom Brady previously brought us THE HOT CHICK and THE COMEBACKS. Check out the poster above and trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
