Jason Reitman’s GHOSTBUSTERS 3 already has a teaser trailer, and here it is…

If you missed our report on the BIG news that broke yesterday, regarding Ivan Reitman’s son Jason directing and co-writing an official and true GHOSTBUSTERS sequel… now it’s really official. This would be a sequel to GHOSTBUSTERS II from 1989, not in any way connected with Paul Feig’s critically panned GHOSTBUSTERS reboot attempt. Sony has released a teaser trailer, and it’s just that (a teaser) to get folks hyped. The film is said to start shooting this summer, and will be released in 2020. No word yet on whether or not Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, Rick Moranis, or Sigourney Weaver will return. Harold Ramis sadly passed away, so there’s definitely no way for Egon to show up, but if you missed the other tidbits on what to expect, click here for the previous story. In the meantime, check out the first teaser trailer below and tell us what you think in the comments. Are you excited about GHOSTBUSTERS 3?
