First high resolution theatrical poster for FIFTY SHADES OF GREY has its back the audience

The big screen adaptation of FIFTY SHADES OF GREY is still over a year away, but Universal Pictures has just released the first official poster image from the film. Safe to call this a “teaser” poster, and according to their verbiage it’s only going to be seen in a few select cities. Take a look at the image below and tell us what you think. If you’re not familiar with FIFTY SHADES OF GREY, it’s based on a series of books by EL James, and actually started as a sort of fan fiction based on THE TWILIGHT SAGA… no kidding. Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson (NOWHERE BOY), the movie stars Jamie Dornan (as Christian Grey), Dakota Johnson (as Anastasia Steele), Jennifer Ehle, Max Martini, Eloise Mumford, Marcia Gay Harden, Luke Grimes, Rita Ora, Victor Rasuk, Callum Keith, and Dylan Neal. It opens February 13, 2015.
