I’ve always loved those “all in one night” comedies, usually involving a stuffy stereotype finding themselves fighting through one wild evening, and usually all coming down to a deadline the following morning… but not before they learn a little about themselves, and transform their personality a bit. This sort of storyline has been done countless times through the years, running the gamut of high school kids (like in TAKE ME HOME TONIGHT) to a bored married couple (like in DATE NIGHT). The latest to try this out in WALK OF SHAME, which stars Elizabeth Banks as a news reporter hoping to make it big in an anchor position. One night she goes out with friends for a crazy night at the club, and things get a bit nuts. It’s written and directed by Steven Brill (DRILLBIT TAYLOR) and also stars Meghan Miles, James Marsden, Gillian Jacobs, Ethan Suplee, Sarah Wright, Oliver Hudson, P.J. Byrne, Richard Cabral, Willie Garson, Bill Burr, Tig Notaro, Kevin Nealon, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., Ken Davitian, Liz Carey and Alphonso McAuley. I got a few chuckles out of this, tell us what you think in the comments below.

A reporter’s dream of becoming a news anchor is compromised after a one-night stand leaves her stranded in downtown L.A. without a phone, car, ID or money – and only 8 hours to make it to the most important job interview of her life.
