Stan Lee is certainly no stranger to making cameo appearances, though usually those cameos are found in big Marvel movies. This Sunday he and legendary writer Harlan Ellison will be animated on The Simpsons on Fox, and you can see a preview below, which includes both men discussing their roles. Stan (who just turned 91 by the way) actually appeared on the show once before in the 2002 episode “I Am Furious Yellow”, but seemed thrilled to come back. Lee was quoted to say “I was here 12 years ago, and I think I impressed them so that after 12 years, they figured they had to have me back.” In regards to his appearance on the show, Harlan Ellison stated “Now, after writing over 100 books, I have reached the final stake of posterity by being included in The Simpsons.” Check out the video below, courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter, followed by info on Stan appearing on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. The episode of The Simpsons featuring Lee and Ellison airs Sunday at 8pm on Fox.

And one Stan Lee cameo isn’t enough, so you can also soon look for Stan The Man on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. He confirmed that he will appear in an upcoming episode, though the role has not yet been revealed. Stan has called it a “big role”, so it could be much more than just a cameo. Check out the photo of Lee with the show’s cast below, again from THR. At this time it’s estimated the episode will air on February 4. Stan’s last superhero TV appearance was on the series Heroes, and he’s also been featured on The Big Bang Theory. You can soon hear him in the animated movie Stan Lee’s Mighty 7 on Hub Network, February 1 at 8pm.
