The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (also known as the BAFTA) Awards are always worth a look, especially if you’re looking for an idea of what to expect from the upcoming Academy Award nominations. The 2014 BAFTA Award nominations are released, and we have the full list below. 12 YEARS A SLAVE, AMERICAN HUSTLE, CAPTAIN PHILLIPS and GRAVITY all got multiple noms in various categories, though no love for Spike Jonze’s HER and the Matthew McConaughey vehicles MUD and DALLAS BUYERS CLUB seem to have been overlooked as well. Then again this is the BAFTAs, so maybe those films just didn’t resonate with British audiences. GRAVITY is the big winner so far, with 11 total nominations. Take a look at the list and see if you agree or disagree with any of them. The Awards will air on Sunday, February 16.
