If the 3 DAYS TO KILL trailer looks familiar, it’s safe to say it borrows a page or two from movies like TAKEN… though the TAKEN series never seemed to have much injection of humor in the proceedings. Kevin Costner has been out of the theatrical spotlight in the last few years, though he recently graced big screens again earlier in 2013 with MAN OF STEEL playing Pa Kent to Henry Cavill’s “Superman.” The seasoned actor looks poised for a Hollywood comeback in 2014, starring in no less than five films, including JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT. But for now check out the poster (above) and new teaser trailer below for 3 DAYS TO KILL. Directed by McG (THIS MEANS WAR) and written by Luc Besson and Adi Hasak, this heart pounding action-thriller stars Kevin Costner, Amber Heard, Connie Nielsen and Hailee Steinfeld. Are you looking forward to watching Costner kicking butt on the big screen again?

A dangerous international spy (Kevin Costner) is determined to give up his high stakes life to finally build a closer relationship with his estranged wife and daughter, whom he’s previously kept at arm’s length to keep out of danger. But first, he must complete one last mission- even if it means juggling the two toughest assignments yet: hunting down the world’s most ruthless terrorist and looking after his teenage daughter for the first time in ten years, while his wife is out of town.

3 DAYS TO KILL opens February 21, 2014
