If you missed Dallas Comic Con‘s FAN DAYS October 4-6, you missed a lot of exciting stuff, including special guests from some of the hottest genre movies and TV shows. One of my duties outside of running Bigfanboy.com is managing these events, and since this last one fell at the end of the week that saw BREAKING BAD’s final episode, we were able to make special arrangements to have two fan favorite stars from the series at the show… that’s right, the same week the show ended they were here to meet the fans. Giancarlo Esposito played the mysterious and lethal Gustavo Fring, and Charles Baker played the lovable Skinny Pete. Baker actually has the distinction of being one of the few supporting stars to appear in every single season of the show, including the finale. As some of you know, from time to time I moderate these Q&A sessions, but as this was early in the day at a very busy time of the show, I knew time wouldn’t allow for me to do it, so I called upon my friend Julie Fisk of KVIL’s “Zazza & Julie“, also a noted CBS Radio film critic. Julie had never done one of these before, but she’s one of the biggest BREAKING BAD fans I know, so I could think of no one better to handle it, and I’m happy to say she did a great job. Check out the full Q&A, filled with great stories from the set, their thoughts on the show wrapping up, and a few motivational anecdotes. It’s a fun discussion with two phenomenal actors from one of the greatest series ever to grace television.
