You have to love talk shows, especially ones from the UK. The Graham Norton Show on BBC One manages to get some pretty spectacular guests, and Norton always manages to ask the questions people want to hear. In one of his more recent episodes he was graced by geek gods of past and present, Harrison Ford (there to promote ENDER’S GAME) and Benedict Cumberbatch (there to promote THE FIFTH ESTATE). As with any talk show that has Ford on these days, the inevitable question about STAR WARS: EPISODE VII came up, and Ford (of course) stayed pretty tight-lipped about it. But the way things play out is rather amusing here. Perhaps even more endearing is the moment where Harrison (obviously trying to change the subject) heaps unexpected praise on Cumberbatch, who is obviously humbled… well, it’s best I stop typing and you just see for yourself. Both Ford and Cumberbatch have been rumored for EPISODE VII, and while many publications have stated Ford is fairly definite to star, there’s still been no official confirmation to that effect from either the star or the studio. After watching this video, I’d now love to see these guys do the film together. What do you think? Should either be in in, or both? Tell us in the comments.
Fun video: Harrison Ford & Benedict Cumberbatch sort of deny they’re in EPISODE VII… Ford praises Cumberbatch
