DOM HEMINGWAY trailer and poster – Jude Law heads up this quirky dark comedy

If you’ve been waiting for Jude Law to return to a leading role, have we got the film for you. DOM HEMINGWAY made a splash at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, garnering attention from major outlets, though primarily for Law’s powerfully dark performance. In the movie Jude plays safecracker who is released from a 12-year prison sentence, and immediately reconnects with people he left behind, for better or worse. It co-stars the phenomenal Richard E. Grant, Emilia Clarke, Kerry Condon, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Jumayn Hunter, Madalina Ghenea and Demián Bichir. The poster above has actually been out there for a little while now, and after first seeing it I couldn’t wait to see the trailer. Judge for yourself by watching it below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Dom Hemingway (Jude Law) is a larger-than-life safecracker with a loose fuse, funny, profane, and dangerous. Back on the streets of London after twelve years in prison, it’s time to collect what he’s owed for keeping his mouth shut.

Travelling with his devoted best friend Dickie (Richard E. Grant), Dom visits his crime boss Mr Fontaine (Demián Bichir) in the south of France to claim his reward. But Dom’s drink and drug-fuelled ego decides that what he’s lost can’t be replaced. One car accident and a femme fatale later, Dom realises that his priority must be to reconnect with his long-lost daughter Evelyn (Emilia Clarke). But Dom does what Dom does best. He screws things up for everyone…

DOM HEMMINGWAY opens November 15, 2013 in the UK but not until April 4, 2014 here.
