Some might say the Emmy wins last night for BREAKING BAD weren’t very surprising, especially since many are now calling it the best show on television. Lead actress Anna Gunn took home an award, and the show itself won the highest honor at the end of the night. If you’re a fan, and have been watching the current season anticipating the big finish next Sunday, you might have considered going back for a little recap to remind yourself of everything that let up to these current episodes. AMC will be running a marathon titled “Countdown to Finale” starting Tuesday, September 24 at 8pm, where they’ll show every single episode leading up to the last one Sunday night. But let’s face it, not everyone has time to revisit individual episodes, even if they are back to back. So if you want a modestly-sized catch up session, how do you feel about the idea of watching the first five seasons (or the first four and the first half of season five, depending on how you look at the current season) in just two hours? A YouTube user by the name of Jason Grzybowski has posted a two-hour compilation that features all the key moments, set to inspired music that never overpowers the scenes, and does a fantastic job of reminding us of all the big events that got us to where we are. I watched it all the way through, and it’s pretty fantastic. Check it out for yourself, unless of course you’ve never watched the show, at which point I’d say you should absolutely watch it the right way. Otherwise enjoy this ultimate refresher.
