If you liked the first MACHETE movie, chances are you’re going go nuts over MACHETE KILLS, which has an ever bigger cast and (from the looks of it) even crazier and gorier action. Robert Rodriguez directs this outing solo – he co-directed the first movie – and it looks like it’s going to be insane fun. The film features Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen (aka “Carlos Estevez”, playing the President of the United States), Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez, Sofía Vergara, Lady Gaga, Cuba Gooding Jr., Antonio Banderas, Demián Bichir, Alexa Vega, Jessica Alba, Vanessa Hudgens, Edward James Olmos, William Sadler, and Marko Zaror. Check out the new red band trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

In MACHETE KILLS, Danny Trejo returns as ex-Federale agent MACHETE, who is recruited by the President of the United States for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man – he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy across the planet.

MACHETE KILLS opens October 11, 2013
