At San Diego Comic-Con this year I had a chance to interview the cast and creators of KICK-ASS 2, which happened as a fluke, as I received no advance info on it – thankfully the publicists on site allowed me to slip in on the press line and chat with the stars of the film (Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Lindy Booth, and Donald Faison) along with the comic book creators John Romita Jr. (who I know pretty well – always oddly fun interviewing someone you could talk to anytime) and Mark Millar. I had chatted with Johnson and Plasse for the first KICK-ASS back in 2010 at South by Southwest, so it was great to catch up with them again on this one, though my time with some of the talent was a tad limited. Check out the video interviews below, and look for KICK-ASS 2 this weekend in theaters across the country. Oh yeah, for some reason Chloe Grace Moretz wasn’t there, which was a bummer, but I’m sure we’ll catch up with her again down the line.
