Video interview: Karolina Wydra talks EUROPA REPORT, TRUE BLOOD and more

While I’m not the biggest fan of the found footage genre, one recent movie that’s done it right is Sebastián Cordero’s EUROPA REPORT, which stars Sharlto Copley, Michael Nyqvist, Christian Camargo, Embeth Davidtz, Dan Fogler, Anamaria Marinca, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Karolina Wydra and Daniel Wu. The space exploration drama uses the various cameras to tell a story in fascinating and engaging ways, and may just be one of the smarter sci-fi films to come along in a while. While at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, I had the pleasure of talking to one of the movie’s talented stars, the lovely Karolina Wydra. The Polish actress turns in a solid performance in EUROPA REPORT, and can currently be seen on the popular series TRUE BLOOD. Check out our interview below, in which she speaks passionately about working on the Cordero film, her thoughts on acting and more… and there’s a fun little moment where I can’t help but call attention to her tattoo. EUROPA REPORT can be seen On Demand or in theaters starting this weekend, and is definitely worth a look.
