Listen up, bub. If you live in the DFW area, Bigfanboy.com has got your chance to see a special advance screening of THE WOLVERINE starring Hugh Jackman on July 23rd in Plano, TX. We have passes to give away, but we also have 10 reserved seats (five “reserved for 2” passes) that a few extra special winners will receive.

There’s multiple ways to enter, but if you’re just wanting a basic pass (and understand you’ll have a line to wait in and take your chances) you can just send us an e-mail and say “I want passes to see THE WOLVERINE” to enter – if the e-mail link here doesn’t work for you, send to hotfishstudios [at] hotmail.com

There will also be a Wolverine look-a-like contest at the screening, so if you come dressed as your best Logan, you could win some fun prizes, including a $20 gift card for Cinemark Theaters and more. We’ll be looking for best chops (sideburns), best claws, and best overall costume. Entrants will be chosen before seating begins, and must stand in front of the crowd to be judged.

Now for those of you wanting reserved seats, we want thse special passes to go to hardcore fans, so we’ve come up with a few different ways you can win these babies. Do one of the following below – remember, you only have to do ONE of these to enter for the reserved seats:

1. Draw a Wolverine comic book cover. Yes, we know that sounds hard, but there’s a lot of aspiring comic book artists out there, and we want to see your take on a Wolverine cover. It doesn’t have to be color, though that doens’t hurt. We want to see drawings though, not manipulated photos. Be original and creative, have fun with this one.

2. Get Hugh Jackman to Tweet about Bigfanboy.com – Hugh loves to use his Twitter, and we love bringing attention to our Twitter handle, so see if you can get him to give us a plug. We’d suggest Tweeting something like “Hey @RealHughJackman can you let people know to check out @bigfanboy for news on THE WOLVERINE in Dallas?” or something of the sort. If Hugh retweets you and @bigfanboy is mentioned in there in a cool way, you’re a shoe in.

3. Get your hair cut like Logan. This may be tough if you have short hair, but for those with big and thick hairdos, here’s your chance to give yourself that Wolverine look and win something for it. Hit up your local barber, or style it yourself, and send us a photo or video so we can see. This may be easier said than done, but if you do it right you could win.

4. Tell us about the first Wolverine comic book you ever read. This needs to be in detail, we want to know about your very first Wolverine comic book experience. When you read it what did you think? Did you like the story? What about the character appealed to you? Make it good, no ‘one sentence’ answers.

5. Show us your Wolverine collection. We know there’s some of you out there who have a lot of Wolvie stuff around the house, so bring it all together and take a pic of yourself surrounded by Wolvie memorabilia, prove to us you are definitely a fan of Wolverine.

Read those carefully above and send us an e-mail with that entry and specify in the subject line “Entering for THE WOLVERINE reserved seats” – if the e-mail link here doesn’t work for you, send to hotfishstudios [at] hotmail.com

Contest is open to U.S. residents only, and these tickets are ONLY good for the screening in Plano, TX. One entry per household. Do not send multiple e-mails using different addresses for the same person. Multiple entries will cause ALL of your entries to be discarded. Deadline to enter is July 21, 2013.

THE WOLVERINE is directed by James Mangold and stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee.
