Video interview: Amy Acker talks about headlining Joss Whedon’s MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of seeing Joss Whedon’s passion project MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING on the big screen in all of its black and white glory. The movie, which was shot during the down time while Whedon was filming THE AVENGERS, is a modern day adaptation of the famous William Shakespeare play. It features Joss regulars, like Nathan Fillion, Alexis Denisof, Sean Maher, Tom Lenk, and Clark Gregg. But the undeniable star of the piece is former ANGEL and DOLLHOUSE actress Amy Acker, who incidentally is from my hometown of Dallas, TX. Amy stopped in at the USA Film Festival this past April, and while she was here we sat down to chat about her work on the film, her relationship with Joss, and much more. Check out the interview below, and the film which is now playing in select cities.
