R.I.P.D. starring Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds gets a new international trailer.

We have a new trailer for this summer’s R.I.P.D. aka Rest In Peace Department starring Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds as two deceased cops, one from the old west and one from the present who are partnered together to hunt down the dead that like to cause trouble for the living world.

If the first trailer made you think back to 1997’s MEN IN BLACK, don’t worry, you are not alone.  Personally, I can think of worse films to try and copy but there does seem to be an almost uncanny resemblance between the two.  That being said, I have to admit, this one does look like it has the potential to be a lot of fun, just like MIB was back in the day, so even if they do end up being similar, I think I’ll be able to get past that.

Give the new trailer a look below and then let us know what you think in the comments.  Do you feel it is too similar to MIB and does that even matter to you?
