THIS IS THE END doesn’t hit theaters until June 12, but the hype machine for the film is in full gear. Co-writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (Goldberg also directed the movie) just hit Dallas for a press tour (our interviews from that are on the way), and the movie is already screening across the country. The story follows fictionalized versions (played by the real guys) of Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson as they deal with what appears to be the end of the world, which hits during an insane star-studded party at Franco’s house. The film at times is a parody of disaster cinema and in other moments evokes satire in the vein of THE NAKED GUN movies, but always seems self-aware of its silliness. Those who go in with the right mindset will likely enjoy the ride immensely. Check out the six new character posters for the film below, and let us know in the comments if this seems like your cup of tea.

Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.
