THIS IS THE END red band full trailer – James Franco’s house has the best parties

If you haven’t heard about THIS IS THE END (starring James Franco, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Michael Cera, Aziz Anzari and Emma Watson), which was first teased on December 20, 2012 (a day some thought would be the end), let’s just say it looks like a rather amusing take on those “end of the world” movies with all star cast. The hook on this one is the all star cast involved are all playing themselves. After a wild party unfolds at James Franco’s house, the guests soon realize the world is ending around them. But what is causing this and why? The trailer seems ambiguous, though one could easily assume aliens of some sort, and we get out first glimpse of a creature in the video below. I can’t help but grin while watching this. It may be stupid and forgettable, but chances are audiences will wanna see it anyway. Judge for yourself and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

The comedy THIS IS THE END follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

And if you missed the April Fool’s joke, here’s THE PINEAPPLE EXPRESS 2 “trailer”:

THIS IS THE END opens June 14, 2013
