WHITE HOUSE DOWN starring Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx gets two full length trailers (Domestic and International)

It’s funny how Hollywood seems to go in cycles, releasing very similar movies in the same year.  Whether it was DEEP IMPACT and ARMAGEDDON, VOLCANO and DANTE’S PEAK, or even the more recent SKYLINE and BATTLEFIELD: LA, it seems that there is an idea that is floated out there and then rival studios jump on board and make their version.  Case in point:  We just saw the release of OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN which sees the White House under attack and now we have the first look at a similar film that is set to be released later this year, WHITE HOUSE DOWN.

Of course the stories are a little different, the similarities are there as well.  Gerard Butler, sorry, Channing Tatum must rescue the President from an attack on the White House.  As with OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN, this one looks good too and is a bit of a call back to the early action films of the 80’s and 90’s and that’s a good thing.  Tatum seems to be channeling his inner Bruce Willis here.  Let’s not forget that this one is also directed by the master of disaster, Mr. Roland Emmerich himself.

Give a peak at the new trailers and let us know what you think in the normal place.
