Live in Dallas? Bigfanboy.com has partnered with Warner Bros. to give a few lucky Bat-fans an opportunity to win a pass for 2 to an advance screening of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES on July 18th at 9:15pm (please note the late start time). To enter, just follow the directions below. We have a very limited number of passes, so if you don't follow our directions precisely, you're not gonna have much luck.
I'll repeat that last part, IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THE EXACT DIRECTIONS FOR ENTERING, your entry will not count. As I said, we want to make sure these passes go to true hardcore fans of The Caped Crusader. FOLKS - PLEASE NOTE we have changed the e-mail address used for entering contests. Please DO NOT e-mail the old address. Use the instructions below. Also, due to high demand and limited passes, ANYONE WHO DOES NOT FOLLOW THE RULES WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT GET A PASS. Do NOT send multiple entries, do not use multiple e-mail addresses, and do not e-mail us asking if you won. Thank you.NOTE - these passes do NOT guarantee you seats, you must arrive EARLY to get a good seat. Showing up an hour before showtime will most likely see you being turned away. Make sure you're aware of this!
READ THIS NEXT PART VERY CAREFULLY - DO NOT send more than one entry, do not use multiple e-mail addresses to enter for yourself, and do not get family members to flood our inbox with numerous entries. If you're married, just send ONE entry - winners get a pass that admits two, so husband and wife do not need to send two separate e-mail to us. If you have kids, you are not going to win multiple passes from us, so do not send multiple entries. It's amazing how many people ignore this - DO NOT SEND MULTIPLE ENTRIES OR ALL OF THEM WILL BE DELETED. Okay, hopefully you read and retained that. Now to enter our contest where you could win a pass for you and a guest, send us an e-mail with the subject line "I want to see THE DARK KNIGHT RISES!" - BUT THAT IS NOT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO! In order to enter properly, we want to know why you are the biggest Batman fan in Dallas. What is it about the Dark Knight that speaks to you? What makes him so cool? Why do you think his popularity has endured so strongly through the years? Make those answers good, no one sentence entries here. We want well thought-out paragraphs of enthusiasm. Make 'em count! All winners will be notified through e-mail on the afternoon of July 17. If the e-mail link doesn't work (NOTE: we're using a different e-mail address than normal), send your entry to hotfishstudios [at] hotmail.com - posting in the comments on this page does not count as an entry.
You can also increase your chances of winning by LIKING our Facebook page, and telling your friends to do the same. We may just pick a few of these winners based on Facebook posts, so get creative there too. Remember, if you spread the word about us on Facebook, make sure to link to our Facebook page and not the Bigfanboy group. Also note, you STILL need to enter with a e-mail as stated above.
One entry per e-mail per household - do not use multiple e-mails for the same name, multiple entries for the same person or family will be discarded - DO NOT SEND MULTIPLE ENTRIES, EVEN IF THEY ARE FROM DIFFERENT E-MAIL ADDRESSES, OR THEY WILL ALL BE DELETED. DO NOT POST IN THE COMMENTS ASKING FOR PASSES. DO NOT SEND A FOLLOW-UP E-MAIL ASKING IF YOU'VE WON - WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED THROUGH E-MAIL.
Remember, this screening in July 18th, and starts at 9:15pm, and the movie is almost three hours long, so be aware this before entering. DO NOT ENTER if you are not 100% sure you can attend.
