See THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Midnight at the Texas Theatre – get a t-shirt!

Miss getting passes for the advance screening? Come to the Texas Theatre tonight at Midnight, and we’ll give you a free t-shirt (while they last) for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN! has partnered with Sony Pictures to present the Midnight opening of Spidey’s new adventure on the big screen at the historic Texas Theatre. You could come watch the movie before any other paying customers, and potentially walk away with a very cool shirt to remember it by! The Texas Theatre is a fantastic repertory cinema house, but they occasionally show first run features as well, and on this one we’re helping them do it up in style.

You don’t have to do anything special, just buy yourself a ticket for the Monday at Midnight show – this is the only show this offer is good for! Show up in costume and get an extra special prize (of some sort). Come join us Monday night for all the fun.

A few notes – if you’ve never been to the Texas Theatre, this is a great place to see movies in a classic environment. Painstakingly restored by the fine folks at Aviation Cinemas, the main house features an impressive 650 seats. Perhaps best known in history as the location where Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested, you’ll immediately feel the nostalgia upon entering the doors of this stylish building. The Texas Theatre also has a full bar and plenty of lounge seating, which is a great place to have a drink and talk about the film you’re about to see… or just saw! We’ll be hosting the midnight showing of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN on July 2 – the t-shirt offer is ONLY good for that showing.

NOTE: We’e giving away shirts while supplies last, so if you show up just before the movie starts, there’s a good chance you will NOT get a shirt. Be aware of this. We may also have some posters, just waiting to hear back from Sony on that…

“The Amazing Spider-Man” is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
